Your privacy

Two Souls and Three Tails is a personal travel blog run by Charan and Shruti from Bengaluru. We keep data collection to the minimum the site needs to work, and we never sell or rent your information.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site:

• Contact and Work with us forms: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
• Newsletter: your email address, so we can send you new stories.
• Comments: the name and comment you post are shown publicly under the story. They're stored with Upstash, our database provider. To stop spam we keep a scrambled (one-way) version of your network address for up to a day; we never store the address itself. Ask us through the contact form to remove a comment.
• Likes: your browser keeps a random ID so it only counts your like once. It isn't linked to you.

Form submissions are delivered to our email by Web3Forms. Only the two of us read them, and we use them for the reason you sent them and nothing else.

What we don't do

• We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
• We don't show ads, and we don't share your details with brands we work with.

Things outside our control

• Hosting: like every web host, Vercel records basic technical information about visits, such as IP address and browser, to keep the site running and secure.
• Fonts: the site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.
• Links: links to Instagram and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Newsletter

You can unsubscribe at any time, either through the link in any newsletter email or by writing to us through the contact form, and we'll remove your address.

Seeing or deleting your information

Ask us through the contact form and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
